MAISIE MO HARRISON
Born and raised in East London, Maisie (she/her) started attending circus classes at age 6, training in various aerial and ground based disciplines. She specialised in flying trapeze for 5 years before joining a youth program which allowed her to train dance and circus alongside each other. She began teaching at age 16, delivering dance classes to adults living with chronic pain and/or visual impairments. Since then she has taught adults, children, and professionals in various circus disciplines, predominantly aerial straps, flying trapeze and handstands.
Maisie got her bachelors in circus from the National Centre for Circus Arts (NCCA) specialising in Aerial Straps before moving to Italy to continue her circus studies at Flic. Her research within straps explores combining dance, acrobatics and quality of movement in an attempt to broaden the definition of 'straps technique'.
STRAPS
This class focuses on both static and dynamic straps-techniques, and most importantly to use them in your very own way. We all have different artistic bodies, the work on the aerial straps is the way to approach to understand the best possible.
